■SUMMARY
The incumbent will work closely with the Investment Director on to implement and executive Chelsfield Asia’s investment mandates in Japan. This will typically include market research, deal origination, analysis, due diligence, execution, monitoring and exit. The Investment Analyst shall also contribute to regional best practices, group initiatives and reporting requirements.
The incumbent might also be required to provide occasional operational support on the business reporting including Board reports, fund and investors’ reports, reports to regulators (where applicable) and transactional support on financing and documentation as and when needed.
■ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Other duties may be assigned as needed within skill sets.)
・Assist in assessing investment opportunities (including building/tuning/running econometrics models)
・Writing investment briefs/papers for investments
・Assist in transaction execution including due diligence, financing, documentation drafting and on site coordination
・Assist in identifying investment opportunities
・Assist in writing regular market reports for in-house use and external investors
・Responding to property teams’ requests for market data and analysis
・Developing and maintaining relationships with external forecasting and research houses
・Undertake ad-hoc research in areas of interest to the Company
・Assist in the preparation of presentations both internally and externally
・Assist in preparation of reports to and information for management and investors of fund managed by Chelsfield Asia
・Assist in networking and liaising with useful business contacts
必要業務経験
■QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
・Diligent, committed, and organised the ability to meet reporting and other deadlines is essential
・Good, hands-on experience in financial modelling, ideally in real estate or fund management or financial services sector
・Track record on deal execution (both buy and sell sides)
・Strong communication skills required as position needs to liaise locally and internationally as well as with senior management
・English language skills required
・Open communication/action style in a constructive culture
・Technical proficiency with Excel or other computer applications
■EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
University degree with at least 3 to 5 year relevant work experience CPA or CFA qualified an advantage
