This position presents a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to play a central role in pioneering an innovative investment approach in Japan.

You'll work closely with a seasoned founding team with blue chip backgrounds in investment banking, management consulting, hedge fund management, and private equity investment.

As an Investment Associate, your main role will involve helping with the identification, assessment and execution of investment prospects within the Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) sector, across a variety of Industries in Japan. You will enjoy considerable autonomy and responsibility right from the outset with the opportunity to engage in active deal-making.

? Independently manage deals from inception to conclusion
? Make key decisions and interact with clients
? Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities
? Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations
? Collaborate with senior team members to execute on investment strategies
? Stay updated on market trends and industry developments

必要業務経験

Candidate Requirements:

? Possess at least 5-8 years of experience as an Analyst and/or Associate in the Financial Services, Banking, or Consulting Industry sectors.
? Demonstrated ability to network with key stakeholders and in turn build long-term enduring relationships
? Possess strong communication and presentation skills in varied contexts (e.g. you will be required to interface with both large domestic financial institutions as well as SME owners and entrepreneurs)
? Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and oversight
? Be comfortable with uncertainty with a “can do” attitude when faced with problems
? Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in a numerical field such as Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Physics
? Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is preferred
? At least 2 years of experience as an Analyst in Financial Services, Banking, or Consulting
? Strong proficiency in financial analysis, modeling and valuation techniques
? High Business level English; native or high business-level proficiency in Japanese
